Peer mentors assist first years in mastering their course outcomes,
developing appropriate learning skills and adjusting to university life
in general.
Supplemental instruction (SI) is an academic development programme which
helps you master your coursework and learn the skills necessary to be
successful.
Study Skills Workshops are presented throughout the year and attendance
is voluntary. These workshops aim to improve students' in skills such as
time management, staying motivated etc.
All students who are registered for the compulsory module AGLA/E121 have
to complete a reading component. The reading is done on computerised
reading programmes in the reading lab.
ADS offers support to students for eFundi, whether it be on or off
campus. eFundi is the NWU’s learning and collaboration management
system. Students are assisted in accessing eFundi and, for instance,
will be able to submit their assignments electronically, in advance and
on time. Students will also be assisted in tracking their modules for
each semester and using the resources and tools available on their
eFundi site. Please do not hesitate to contact us! The contact number
